Santander Group division Santander Asset Management UK has hired Azim Meghji as head of credit for its £977 million Sterling Corporate Bond Fund, What Investment reports. He joins from HSBC Global Asset Management.
Meghji has 10 years of experience in the fund management industry and was in charge of all of HSBC’s credit investment funds in London, including HSBC’s $1.3 billion Global High Income Fund. He was previously part of Deutsche Bank’s structured credit team.
