BNP Paribas has appointed Gareth Lewis-Davies as an oil strategist to expand its commodities desk, Financial News reports. He has joined the bank’s team of analysts covering oil markets, including crude oil.
Based in the French bank’s London office, Lewis-Davies will be reporting to Harry Tchiliguirian, head of commodity markets strategy. Before joining BNP, Lewis-Davies was head of energy commodity research at commodities trader Noble Group.
