Private equity firm, Lindsay Goldberg, is acquiring Lockheed Martin’s Pacific Architects and Engineers unit, Financial Times reports. Financial terms of the deal, which is expected to be completed in the second quarter, were not disclosed. The company secured bids from private equity groups and engineering services companies for the unit that it bought in 2006 for about $700 million. Lockheed was seeking to raise $500 million through the sale. The defence contractor put the unit up for sale in June alongside its Enterprise Integration Group.
