Société Générale Private Banking Hambros will acquire the private client investment management business of Barings Asset Management, Financial News reports. Barings’ financial services owner, MassMutual Financial Group will sell the company. The details of the transaction have not been disclosed. Barings’ private client business is currently headed by John Maitland who is responsible for both on and offshore private client business, adds What Investment.
