Islamic law has approved two exchange-traded certificates (ETCs) of Source, ETF Express reports. The Source Physical Platinum P-ETC and the Source Physical Palladium P-ETC have been confirmed as permissible Islamic investment certificates by the law. The Source products were approved on July 26, 2011 by a Board of Shari’ah Scholars. The board was facilitated by Amanie Islamic Finance Consultancy and Education.
