MTS To Offer Corp Bond Trading In October

The London Stock Exchange’s electronic fixed-income dealing division is planning to provide trading in corporate bonds.

The London Stock Exchange’s electronic fixed-income dealing division is planning to provide trading in corporate bonds, Bloomberg reports. MTS will begin testing at the end of September and be ready by October, said its CEO Jack Jeffery.

The company is also looking to launch a platform to trade credit swaps. Last month, MTS, which trades in the sovereign debt of 17 countries, started offering trading in U.K. government bonds.
