Lehman Brothers has claimed that it received less payment from Barclays for its North American business in 2008, Bloomberg reports. Barclays is accused of spending $500 million less on bonuses for former Lehman employees than it should have. Lehman, which failed to recover an alleged $11 billion windfall from London-based Barclays, has requested a judge to ask the U.K. bank to pay the money to the estate as a form of damages. As per Barclays, the $2 billion in bonuses mentioned in the sale documents was an estimate that included severance payments.
