LG&E/KU Energy Raises $250M In Bond Sale

LG&E/KU Energy has raised $250 million through a sale of senior unsecured notes in the 144a private placement market.

LG&E/KU Energy has raised $250 million through a sale of senior unsecured notes in the 144a private placement market, Reuters reports. The notes carry a coupon rate of 4.375 percent and are scheduled to mature on Oct. 1, 2021.

The senior unsecured notes were sold at a yield of 4.395 percent. BNP Paribas, RBC, and U.S. Bancorp were joint book runners on the transaction.
