Northern Trust will acquire the fund administration business, Omnium, The Wall Street Journal reports. Hedge fund manager Citadel is selling the business for an undisclosed amount.
Omnium offers technology-driven administration to funds with over $500 million of assets. The business has about $70 billion in assets under administration.
