FocusShares has applied SunGard’s solution in its exchange-traded funds (ETF) business. SunGard’s Asset Arena Investment Management, APT and Asset Arena Reconciliation integrated solution will support the entire portfolio management process, including portfolio construction through trading, compliance and reconciliation. FocusShares will use APT’s risk management tools to help track the funds’ underlying indexes. Asset Arena Investment Management will process the trade outputs in real-time after the portfolios are constructed, helping ensure appropriate compliance.
