Nomura Names 13 Senior Managing Directors

Nomura has appointed Benoit Savoret, joint head of equities, among 13 new senior managing directors to assume the title on April 1, 2011.

Nomura has appointed Benoit Savoret, joint head of equities, among 13 new senior managing directors to assume the title on April 1, 2011. Previously, Savoret served at Lehman Brothers as head of European equities. The other new senior managing directors are Samuel Ruiz, joint head of equities for EMEA, and Patrick Schmitz-Morkramer, head of investment banking for Asia ex-Japan. Paul Norris, head of global equity research, Jonathan Lewis, CFO of the wholesale unit, and Garth Barker-Goldie, global head of wholesale operations, are among the other senior managing directors.
