New York-based Goldman Sachs will set up an office in Houston for physical commodities sales and trading, Bloomberg reports. The bank is expected to appoint around 12 sales and trading executives for the new unit.

Current Managing Director of energy sales in New York Trey Griggs will move to Houston as the head of commodities for the branch. Trader Ben Freeman will also be transferred from London to lead commodities trading in Houston.
