London-based alternative investment manager, Frontier Investment Management, has started a new fund for investors, FINalternatives reports. The IFDS Frontier MAP Cautious Fund, which incorporates Frontier’s eight asset class portfolio, will be launched on Feb. 9, 2011.

Marc-Phillipe Davies, head of investments at Frontier, will manage the new vehicle, which will target investors with a lower risk appetite. The fund will invest in global equities, global fixed income, emerging equities, emerging bonds, global real estate, commodities, hedge funds and managed futures.
