Battery Ventures has promoted vice president, Chelsea Stoner, to the position of principal. Stoner will focus on growth equity and buyout investments in the software and digital media markets, particularly SaaS and healthcare software.

She will be based in the firm’s Menlo Park, California office. Stoner was involved with the firm’s buyout of Data Innovations and its growth equity investment in Groupon. Battery Ventures is a multi-stage investment firm focused on technology and innovation worldwide.
