The government of Serbia may cancel the sale of Telekom Srbija after failing to get its asking price, Bloomberg reports. Telekom Austria had offered to buy the state’s 51% stake for about €950 million in cash and €450 million in investments. Serbia had demanded €1.4 billion in cash for the stake. The government is mulling a bond sale to fund its budget deficit.
