Dow Jones Indexes is planning to build and co-brand a U.S. business cycle gauge to closely monitor Pring Research’s proprietary investment strategy. The new index will have a transparent and investable multi-asset portfolio that will serve as the basis for exchange-traded funds, mutual funds, separately managed accounts and a range of investment products.
Pring Research’s principal and president Martin Pring has created a rules-based methodology that identifies the current stage of the economic business cycle. Pring Barometers’ Signals determines the asset classes and equity sectors that outperform during those particular stages.
