Morgan Stanley Investment Management has raised $956 million in capital for its debut corporate mezzanine fund, The Wall Street Journal reports. The vehicle, Morgan Stanley Credit Partners, is managed by Hank D’Alessandro and his team. The fund mainly invests in fixed income securities issued by middle-market companies together with leveraged buyouts, debt refinancing, acquisitions and recapitalizations. It has invested over $160 million in five portfolio companies to date, and has a target investment size of $20-50 million.
