Franklin Templeton, a closed-end investment company managed by Franklin Advisers, has selected three portfolio managers as co-manager on the Templeton Asian Growth and Templeton Frontier Markets funds, Financial Times reports. Managers Allan Lam, Dennis Lim and Tom Wu have all joined Mark Mobius, who heads the funds.
The appointments follow the firm’s efforts to boost the team for broader roles. Lam has also become a part of Templeton Bric fund and the Templeton Emerging Markets Smaller Companies fund, in which Lim and Wu were already included. Mobius, executive chairman of the Templeton emerging-markets team, will remain lead manager on all four funds.
