Natixis Global Associates (NGA), the distribution arm of Natixis Global Asset Management, has launched a risk-managed emerging markets mutual fund to be managed by AlphaSimplex Group (ASG). The ASG Growth Markets Fund aims at providing long-term returns of emerging-market stocks.
ASG aims to check volatility with an overlay portfolio of futures and forward contracts structured to limit emerging-market equity risks. Andrew Lo will co-manage the fund with Jeremiah Chafkin and Alexander Healy with Westpeak Global Advisors and Reich & Tang Asset Management sub-advising the portfolio.
