The African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) will receive approximately $124.6 million, The Citizen reports. The World Bank, the founding institution, will give $100 million over three years. Sweden is granting $10 million and 20 African countries are contributing $14.6 million to fund the foundation’s plan. The money will be used to support the foundation’s third strategic medium term plan, which runs from 2012 to 2016.
