Spain Plans $1.2B Stake Sales

SEPI is seeking to sell stakes in International Consolidated Airlines Group, Red Electrica and Ebro Foods

SEPI is seeking to sell stakes in International Consolidated Airlines Group (IAG), Red Electrica (REE) and Ebro Foods, Reuters reports. The Spanish government’s state investment holding company will sell the stakes for a total of $1.2 billion.

The board of SEPI is aiming authorization to sell a total of about 2.71% shares of IAG. It is also seeking permission to sell a 10% stake in power grid operator, REE, and 8.65% shares of food company, Ebro Foods.
