Atrium Network has extended its low-latency network to Equinix’s Zurich data centre. Atrium, which is a provider of smarter connectivity solutions for the financial community, has started a new point of presence (POP) at Equinix’s ZH4 International Business Exchange (IBX) data centre in Zurich.
Through connectivity between Equinix’s Frankfurt FR2 and Zurich ZH4 IBX data centers, non-Zurich-based Atrium participants can now access the Zurich market, allowing Frankfurt-based clients to use Atrium Network’s Zurich to Frankfurt low latency route. Atrium Network will now be able to meet the demands of customers looking to access venues, such as SIX Stock Exchange and SCOACH, a joint venture by SIX Group and Deutsche Börse.
