Petroleo Brasileiro (Petrobras) has selected BNY Mellon Corporate Trust (BNYM) as trustee, paying agent, registrar and transfer agent. BNY will be the trustee for Petrobras’ $6 billion bond issue.
BNY will offer a variety of services for the debt issue, including processing principal and interest payments and maintaining bondholder records. The proceeds from the bond issue will be used by the Brazilian energy company to finance Petrobras’ planned capital expenditure under its 2010-2014 business plan.
