Citigroup’s Victor Yuan is shifting from its New York office to Hong Kong as a director in the private equity group (FEG), Finance Asia reports. He was responsible for covering both global and U.S. based private equity firms and other alternative asset managers.
In his new role, Yuan will advise financial sponsors and the companies they invest in on a variety of strategic and financial matters, including M&A, and debt and equity raising and for Citi’s financial sponsor coverage for Greater China. He will be reporting to COO of global banking for Asia-Pacific and head of FEG, Chris Laskowski.
