OppenheimerFunds has proposed to merge two of its funds, MutualFundWire reports. The $569.5 million Oppenheimer Balanced Fund may be combined with the $2.3 billion Oppenheimer Equity Income Fund.Emmanuel Ferreira manages the equity side of the balanced fund, while Krishna Memani and Peter Strzalkowski run the fixed income side. The equity income fund is managed by Michael Levine.
