The Singapore Exchange’s (SGX) derivatives market will be adding rubber futures to its commodities suite, Mondovisione reports. The move will transfer the listing of the rubber futures on the Singapore Commodity Exchange (SICOM) onto the SGX trading platform.
The listing of SICOM TSR 20 and SICOM RSS 3 rubber futures will let more international traders participate in the contracts, thereby boosting liquidity. From May 16, 2011, SGX AsiaClear will also clear the TSR 20 rubber contracts that are traded over-the-counter.
