Banca IMI has expanded its corporate sales team with the appointment of two senior executives, FX Week reports. The investment banking unit of Intesa SanPaolo has hired Nicola Silvestri as head of foreign exchange (FX), commodities, rates and equities Milan, London and New York, and Nicola Giaretta as head of corporate risk solutions for rates and equities.
Based in Milan, Giaretta will report to Silvestri, who will be working under global head of institutional and corporate sales Federico Schlesinger. Prior to this, the duo was with Barclays Capital.
