GE Capital has bought Credit Agricole Commercial Finance U.K., Bloomberg reports. The purchase will help the finance unit of General Electric expand its commercial and corporate lending business.
The firm, which is part of Credit Agricole, provided about £3 billion of funding to U.K. companies in 2010. The financial details of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
