Threadneedle has appointed Matthew Cobon as a fixed income fund manager for its developed government and currency team, headed by Quentin Fitzsimmons, Investment Week reports. Cobon will be responsible for boosting Threadneedle’s offering across fixed income and absolute return investing. Cobon was previously working with Aberdeen Asset Management as global head of currency fund management. He has also worked for Deutsche Asset Management, where he was responsible for managing investments in global currency markets.
