Elizabeth Allen has been hired as director and head of credit research at HSBC Global Asset Management, a division of HSBC Holdings, The Asset reports. Based in Hong Kong, she heads the credit research team which offers credit analysis and supports bond selection for Asian bond portfolios. Allen, who will help to further expand the firm’s Asian bond capability, reports to Cecilia Chan, CIO of fixed income, Asia-Pacific. Allen joined HSBC from credit rating agency Moody’s Investors Service, where she was vice president, senior credit officer, responsible for analyzing Asian companies across sectors, countries and credit range.
