UBS has appointed Shahab Jalinoos as a managing director and senior FX strategist for the Americas, The Wall Street Journal reports. In the past, Jalinoos served as a currency strategist at UBS and is now rejoining the bank in its Stamford office.

Most recently, he worked with hedge fund Artradis Royal and Royal Bank of Scotland as a proprietary trader. He has also worked as a currency analyst at ABN/RBS in London.
