American Capital Agency Management, the external manager of American Capital Agency, has expanded its investment team. The firm has appointed Peter Federico as senior vice president and chief risk officer, while Song Jo has been appointed as vice president, mortgage structuring.

Federico was previously working as executive vice president and Treasurer of Freddie Mac, responsible for handling the company’s investment activities for its retained portfolio and developing, implementing and managing risk mitigation strategies. Jo has previously worked as vice president, mortgage structuring, investment and capital markets at Freddie Mac.
