F&C Investments is planning to merge two of its funds, Financial Times reports. The £31 million U.K. Growth & Income fund, managed by Hilary Aldridge, will be combined with the £189.1 million U.K. Equity Income fund run by Phil Doel. The £63.9 million U.K. Opportunities fund run by Doel will be merged with the £152.9 million U.K. Equity fund managed by Peter Lees. The U.K. Equity fund will be renamed as the U.K. Alpha fund.
