IVP Names General Partner

Late stage venture capital firm, Institutional Venture Partners, has promoted its investor, Jules Maltz, to general partner.

Late stage venture capital firm, Institutional Venture Partners (IVP), has promoted its investor, Jules Maltz, to general partner. He will be the firm’s sixth general partner after Todd Chaffee, Norm Fogelsong, Steve Harrick, Sandy Miller and Dennis Phelps.

At IVP, Maltz managed later-stage venture investments in internet and software firms and led investments in Spiceworks, Twitter, Yext and other firms. He currently serves on the board of directors of Buddy Media and H5. Prior to IVP, Jules worked for global venture capital firm, 3i.
