L&G Floats New Environmental Fund

Legal & General has rolled out a passively managed environmental fund.

Legal & General has rolled out a passively managed environmental fund, Financial Times reports. The Global Environmental Enterprises fund will invest in sectors, including low-carbon energy production, energy efficiency, waste management and water use, adds Professional Pensions.

The vehicle will use the Osmosis Climate Solutions Index as the basis of its portfolio. The portfolio is divided into three main sectors, which are energy efficiency and energy management, low carbon energy production and water, waste and pollution control.
