Bank Danamon is seeking to raise $684 million through a rights issue, Market Watch reports. Shareholders will be eligible to purchase138 new shares for every 1,000 existing shares they own as on September 12.

The Indonesian lender intends to use the proceeds to increase lending in small to-midsize businesses and the automotive sector. Citigroup Global Markets Singapore and Deutsche Bank will be underwriters for the issue.
