Bank of America has appointed Gary Lynch to head its legal, compliance, and regulatory relations efforts in a newly created role.

Bank of America has appointed Gary Lynch to head its legal, compliance, and regulatory relations efforts in a newly created role. Chuck Noski will become vice chairman and will continue to advise CEO Brian Moynihan and the management team on strategic and capital management matters and on the resolution of legacy issues.

Bruce Thompson will succeed Noski as CFO by the end of the second quarter of the year. Thompson will also continue as chief risk officer until a replacement is appointed following an internal and external search process.
