Sanford Weill, former chairman of Citigroup, is selling his Manhattan penthouse, Bloomberg reports. Weill is looking to raise $88 million from the sale of the full-floor condominium at 15 Central Park West.

Weill and his wife bought the property for $43.7 million in 2007. He may donate the sale proceeds to charity. This deal will be the most expensive residential transaction ever in Manhattan after the $53 million sale of a townhouse to private equity investor J. Christopher Flowers in 2006.
