Assets under management of Asia-Pacific exchange-traded products (ETPs) witnessed a $1.8 billion, or 2 percent, loss last week, ETF Express reports. According to BlackRock data, the region’s ETP turnover totaled $7.4 billion for the last week, 8.8 percent more than previous week’s total and 54.7 percent up from 2010’s weekly average. South Korea saw the highest turnover with $3.8 billion, followed by Hong Kong which dropped 5.7 percent. Emerging country, short strategy, leveraged strategy and APac developed country exchange-traded funds saw a total turnover of $2.5 billion, $1.7 billion, $1.5 billion and $856 million, respectively.
