Manulife Asset Management’s CIO in Thailand Sukkawat Prasurtying has stepped down from his role, Asian Investor reports. Prasurtying has joined AIA as deputy CIO in Bangkok, replacing Narongsak Plodmechai.
In the new role, Prasurtying will work under Anucha Laokwansatit, CIO of AIA Thailand. At Manulife, Sa-Ngiem Garnjanawigai, COO in Thailand, will assume Prasurtying’s responsibilities on a temporary basis and report to Robert Andrew, head of Asian investments at Manulife AM in Hong Kong.
