Layered Technologies has appointed Jeff Reich as chief risk officer. He will be responsible for boosting Layered Tech’s leadership position in providing compliant cloud, dedicated and hybrid hosting environments.

Most recently, Reich was director of operations for the Institute for Cyber Security (ICS) at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He has also worked with Rackspace Hosting, CheckFree Corp. and Dell Inc.
