Swiss provider of structured investment products EFG Financial Products has chosen the integrated finance and reporting platform developed by software provider Financial Architects (FinArch). Financial Studio Trading Sub Ledger will help EFG meet its requirements for international financial reporting standards (IFRS) accounting, Swiss generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial market supervisory authority reporting.

The platform will support automation and manage trade related accounting and reporting process, from deal to disclosure. The solution will provide event-based accounting and automated foreign exchange processing and allow internal management reporting. Financial Studio supports IAS 39-compliant, bifurcated disclosure of structured products and offers a fully reconciled finance architecture, eradicating manual intervention in the accounting chain.
