Sanlam Asset Management is set to roll out a new high yield equity portfolio later in 2011, What Investment reports. The South African investment group’s new large-cap focused fund will seek to invest in stable but de-rated companies globally.
The group will be able to put together a portfolio of 30 shares in the new fund, targeting an average yield of 5%. The firm’s previous fund, the Global Financial fund, was intended to be small cap focused.
