A unit of Mubadala Development, the investment firm owned by the Abu Dhabi government, has struck a deal with Hamilton Sundstrand. The contract includes an agreement for Mubadala Aerospace to provide maintenance through Mubadala-owned companies Abu Dhabi Aircraft Technologies, SR Technics and Sanad Aero Solutions.
Hamilton Sundstrand is a unit of United Technologies, which has other partnerships with Mubadala through its Sikorsky helicopter subsidiary, adds The National. The deal follows similar licensing deals between Mubadala Aerospace and other components makers, including Goodrich and Honeywell.
