Maersk Oil has selected Lloyd’s Register to provider risk management services. Lloyd’s Register will support the offshore operator’s global management of four key areas of operational risk, hazard identification and risk assessment, accident and incident investigation, management of change and contractor management. The geographical scope of the mandate includes Maersk Oil’s current production areas, including Denmark, the U.K., offshore Qatar and Kazakhstan. It also covers Maersk Oil’s exploration and drilling activities.
