Central Bank of Kuwait has appointed Nasreen Al-Qaseer as general manager for risk management department, CPI Financial reports. The first woman to be appointed in such a role, she will be responsible for supporting the bank’s operational strategy.

Al-Qaseer has worked for more than 26 years in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) banks and financial institutions, specializing in managing credit, market and operational risk. She also has experience in Basel gridlines.
