Public Mutual, a unit of Public Bank, will unveil a new fund focused on Singapore on June 7, 2011.

Public Mutual, a unit of Public Bank, will unveil a new fund focused on Singapore on June 7, 2011, Bernama reports. The Public Singapore Equity Fund will seek to invest in a diversified portfolio of equities to achieve capital growth over the medium- to long-term period.

The fund may allocate about 30% of its net asset value to the domestic and global markets. The vehicle will focus on sectors, including banking and finance, properties and real estate investment trusts, consumer, offshore and marine engineering groups, services and commodity sectors.
