State Street Global Advisors (SSgA) has reported that ETF assets rose $8.8 billion during the month of January to a total of nearly $1 trillion, PLANSPONSOR reports. ETF flows have surpassed $9 billion as per the report.
Large cap and fixed income funds have received inflows of $6.6 billion and $2.9 billion respectively, while international-emerging and commodities had the most outflows, losing $4.5 billion and $2.7 billion. The top three managers in the U.S. ETF marketplace were BlackRock, State Street and Vanguard.
