Windham Capital Management, a risk management specialist firm, has struck a distribution partnership with Australia’s Apostle Asset Management, Financial Standard reports. The Windham Retirement Income Portfolio, which invests mainly in exchange-traded funds, will offer access to global markets to balance liquidity and high current income with downside risk and inflation. The fund is being marketed as a capability because super funds, its target market, will have their own implementation preferences and requirements. Together, the firms will offer in Australia strategies for a retirement market concentrated on risk management, liquidity, fee controls and regular income distribution.
