Malaysia’s Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) has appointed banks to advise on an initial public offering (IPO) of plantation company Felda Global Group, Reuters reports. The appointed joint advisers are CIMB Investment Bank, Maybank Investment Bank and Morgan Stanley.

The company is looking to raise between $1.6 billion and $1.9 billion through the IPO, which may be launched by the first half of next year. J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank have been appointed as joint book runners for the share shale.
